Founded by Jennifer Arias, a licensed general contractor, Jen The Builder is woman-owned and operated in Phoenix, Arizona. Jen, born and raised in Arkansas, learned the foundational skills of the trades alongside her mother and grandmother, two strong independent women, who renovated, rented, and sold homes. They all rolled up their sleeves and got in the trenches, her mother had the design eye and her grandmother steered the ship.

 

Jen, a mother of two sons and one daughter, is known for her tenacious work ethic, and impressing her clients with quality workmanship, attention to detail, and superior customer service. Jen is a team player and is hands on while she is managing your remodel, don’t be surprised if you find her out in the field installing electrical trim or hauling a dump trailer.

In her warm Southern twang, you may hear her shout out her motto to her work team,

“Leave it better than you found it”. And they will.
